| The special coating on the Swarovski Crystal (sometimes called Austrian crystal) is permanent. Known as "AB" for "Aurora Borealis," this coating over the crystal shimmers with a rainbow type of color. AB crystals start as clear crystals but after they are coated with a special film on one side, they reflect light spectacularly and reflect different colors depending on it's surroundings. Clear crystal resembles a CZ, but the AB crystal reflects its surrounding colors. AB2 crystals have a definite multiple rainbow shimmer to them that is VERY pronounced. Swarovski (Austrian) Crystal is the finest quality, full-lead crystal made today and was created over 100 years ago in the Tyrolean Alps of Austria by inventor Daniel Swarovski. These crystals are optically very pure, faceted perfectly with tremendous precision, creating beautiful prisms. They resist scratching, peeling, fading, horse sweat, and will not chip, crack or peel. |

| Just so you know, we have added images of different leather products titled Light, Medium, and Dark oil. As you can see on the left side of your screen, oil treated hides are all different even though they go by a Light, Medium and Dark oil description. Leather is a "skin" and comes naturally in all shades. Because of its natural pigmentation, adding the same oil to two different leather hides can have drastically different results. To the right of your screen are images of hides that have not been treated with any chemicals to change the color. You can see how varied the hides are in color. However, because we are all unique, we will do our best to match anything you like. After we have cut out the leather and achieved your color choice as closely as possible, we coat our leather with a special acrylic called Resolene which protects the leather and leaves a smooth, resin-based top finish.. It will not crack, chip or peel off. As most of you know, in time, sunlight and use will darken the leather plus any cleaner or oil that you put on it. |
